Laras’ Word Vomit

Chapter 2: How dare you, thief!

How dare you, thief!

Chapter 286 Words

How dare you, thief —

caught red-handed down the cereal aisle,

lifting a kiss off my cheek by the biscuit pile,

another off the crown of my head, calm as chamomile,

your voice low enough to beguile,

cracking quips half sweet, half juvenile.

Now our smiles won't behave, giving us away for a mile,

snagged somewhere between cart wheels and a dropped nail file.

saw blushed reflection off the tile,

all chagrined, thinking it's been awhile,

okay that's enough before I gag on my own bile.
